In Nepal the Kumari is considered the living embodiment of the Hindu god Taleju, and are worshipped by both Buddhists and Hindu’s alike. During our trip I had the opportunity to meet Chanira Bajracharya a former Kumari, who served for 10 years. In this video Chanira gives us an insight into the culture of Kumari’s and a look behind their lives and their families.
