Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi has landed in Taipai, Taiwan despite a warning from China that the visit would undermine relations.
Sky News has learned that the US has simultaneously deployed four warships to the island nation’s east amid rising tensions with Beijing. A US official called these “routine deployments”.
