Kash Patel has been a long time supporter of President Donald Trump. He’s an American lawyer and former federal prosecutor in the Department of Justice under the Trump administration. Patel is nominated to succeed Christopher Wray, also appointed or nominated by President Trump.
Patel has seen some controversy for his comments on prosecuting politicians and for his comments on January 6th defendants and actions.
