This woman rejected Sir Ratan Tata’s ₹7,000 crore offer and went on to do something incredible.
Jayanti Chauhan is the only daughter of Bisleri founder Ramesh Chauhan.
However, Jayanti Chauhan had a passion for fashion and design and never thought of joining the family business.
But in 2022, her father Ramesh Chauhan decided to sell Bisleri.
The Tata Group even offered ₹7,000 crore for it.
Hearing Sir Ratan Tata’s name, it seemed like the deal would be finalized.
But Jayanti Chauhan realized that Bisleri was her family’s legacy, and she decided to take charge of the business herself.
Under her leadership, Jayanti Chauhan launched new products and focused on young customers.
As a result, Bisleri’s revenue reached ₹2,300 crore in 2023 under her leadership.
Today, Bisleri holds a 32 percent share in the packaged water market and is strengthening its position further.
