In a scene about Piltover’s blindness and vulnerability, you’d expect Jayce to be the blind and vulnerable one, but they have Ambessa blindfolded and bathing. But power move of Ambessa’s is designed to prompt Jayce into understanding the nature of the situation his city is in. She’s teaching him an idea about what blindness really means and what kind of strength his city should have. Arcane goes the extra step with its use of symbolism to deliver nuanced meanings tailored perfectly to their individual scenes.
