Victoria is experiencing its worst fire danger since the 2019 Black Summer bushfires.
Some residents have been told that it is too late to leave.
The main area of concern is the fire burning in the Grampians National Park, as it is still not under control.
The blaze has burned through 53,000 hectares, and at this stage, its parameter is 300 kilometres in length.
A total fire ban has been declared across the state for Boxing Day, as any small fire can prove to be extremely dangerous.
