সেনা-বিদ্রোহী তুমুল লড়াইয়ে এখনও উত্তপ্ত কঙ্গো। বেড়েই চলেছে সংঘাত। চরম ঝুঁকিতে বাংলাদেশসহ বিভিন্ন দেশের শান্তিরক্ষীরা। প্রাণহানি বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ১৭ জনে। আহত তিন শতাধিক। ‘এম টোয়েন্টি থ্রি’ বিদ্রোহী গোষ্ঠীকে সহায়তার অভিযোগে রুয়ান্ডার প্রতি তীব্র নিন্দা জানিয়েছে যুক্তরাষ্ট্র, যুক্তরাজ্য, ইউরোপীয় ইউনিয়ন, চীন’সহ বিশ্ব শক্তিগুলো। সংঘাত বন্ধের আহ্বান জানিয়েছে জাতিসংঘ।

Congo is still hot in the fierce fighting between the army and the rebels. The conflict is escalating. Peacekeepers from various countries, including Bangladesh, are at extreme risk. The death toll has risen to 17. More than 300 are injured. World powers including the US, UK, European Union, China have strongly condemned Rwanda for supporting the ‘M23’ rebel group. The UN has called for an end to the conflict.
