Did you know that the easiest way to pipe a two tone design is to pop two piping bags into a larger one. The great thing about using this method instead filling one bag with two colours is that you can swap out your colours and tips to change up your design.
Here’s a quick video showing how to make a two tone 2D rose. I used buttercream in this tutorial but this would work equally as well with royal icing. And of course, these would also look great on cookies AND cakes. You can recreate these colours using the Colour Mill mixing videos I posted earlier this week. The gorgeous green was made by mixing blue and yellow buttercream.
