Sky News host Sharri Markson has blasted California Governor Gavin Newsom saying he “dropped the ball” on protecting his own people regarding the California wildfires.
Ms Markson said he was too busy being “distracted” by his “obsession” with US President-elect Donald Trump.
“In recent months he’s spoken about ‘Trump-proofing’ California – but he did nothing to fireproof the state.”
