Learn how to sew your own tiered dress with an open back with a knot detail and narrow scrunchie straps with this easy sewing tutorial! You can use any type of non-transparent fabric you like, but I recommend using fabrics with good draping properties (see more in the instruction file).
It is a beginner friendly tutorial, no pattern needed, just follow the tutorial and draft along!
If you’re new to sewing gathering, don’t worry – I’ll go step-by-step to show you just how simple it is: from the calculations to the final dress. I find this tutorial useful if you want to understand the use of a gathering ratio better and how to make any other tiered skirt properly.
No zipper, lining or interfacing, you need only some fabric and narrow elastic.
