Sotheby’s is auctioning off the fossilized skeleton of a Gorgosaurus, an earlier relative of the Tyrannosaurus rex. Gorgosaurus roamed during the Cretaceous Period and is native to western North America. This skeleton was unearthed in Montana. It measures 10-feet tall and 23-feet long. The person with the winning bid will get casting rights, so they can make copies of the original fossils to sell to museums. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
